Anjarle - All you need to know

Anjarle is a beachy village located on the western coast in Ratnagiri district in the state of Maharashtra in India. It is a small port situated near the mouth of the river Jog. The nearest railway station is Khed, 50 kms away, and the nearest airport is Pune Airport, which is 120 KMs away. Anjarle is known for its ethereal natural beauty and virgin beach surrounded by palm trees. It is one of the safest and widest beaches in the Konkan region. However, tourism facilities are limited as of now, with full potential to develop as a tourist village in future.  As part of the western ghats, consisting mainly of lush green, tropical forest. Alphonso mango, cashew nuts, and coconuts are the commercial crops. Other products include watermelons, pickles, jackfruit chips and  kokam sarbat  from various places throughout the year.
